Al Bravo Studios
Al Bravo Studios is a company that has evolved over the years just as its dedication to independent filmmaking has. It all started in 2005, when Al Bravo partnered up with Bill Tyus and Paul Foster to form Skyline Films Inc., an independent production company. In the summer of 2005, shooting for their first film, The Wailer began. The following year produced 3 more films (including a sequel to their first hit) and a rise in credibility for the newborn company.
In 2007, Al was hired to produce Gurdian, a film with a great cast of up-and-comers like Christa Campbell (Alien vs. Alien), Shalim Ortiz (Heroes), and Jack Donner (Invincible). Later that year, Skyline became Al Bravo Studios and partnered with Genext Films to produce both a TV pilot and a film directed by Al entitled A Day at the Bank. Armando Araiza, Luis Gatica and the legendary star Armando Silvestre starred in this comedy filled with drama and action.
In 2013, ABS patterned up with Chemical Mind Studios to work on a series of new film projects, including 2 Bedrooms 1 Bath, starring Michele Hicks and Andrew Walker and featuring Eric Roberts (The Expendables, The Dark Knight) and Costas Mandylor (Saw series). Al continues on his path towards producing quality products and opening doors for talented filmmakers from all different backgrounds and levels of experience, as each new success leads to greater opportunities.
Al Bravo began his career like any other aspiring actor trying to make it big in the industry. Due to his Mexican heritage, actual roles were hard to come by, but he soon found that he had a knack for learning the business. The most formative opportunity for him came in 1996 as a Production Assistant on the set of “The Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers”. This sparked a curiosity in Al that helped him realize his potential to make his own films. In 2005 he formed Skyline Films, Inc. and began a career in his own independent production company.
In 2007, Skyline Films became Al Bravo Studios. The goal of this endeavor was still the same, but with more people working together to make better quality projects. Al continues on his path towards producing quality products and opening doors for talented filmmakers from all different backgrounds and levels of expertise as each new success leads to greater opportunities.

“Impossible is Nothing!” for creativity jump starter Michelle Wang. Graduating from UCLA Magna Cum Laude with a Mass Communications major and a Business Administration minor, she set out to pursue her dream of filmmaking. Michelle has diverse talents in different facets of filmmaking, from the more visual arts of costume designing to the business side of producing motion pictures.
In 2008 Michelle partnered with Al Bravo. In 2009 they produced a Spanish feature entitled Un Dia En El Banco, an action comedy staring Armando Araiza and Luis Gatica, which was loved by fans of Cine Latino when it was distributed through Maya Entertainment. In 2011 Michelle associate-produced Hit List, a romantic comedy starring Joseph Lawrence (Melissa & Joey), Shirly Brener, Andrea Evans, and John Savage. In the same year, she associate-produced Fanaddict and co-produced Reality Terror Night. In 2012 Michelle associate-produced Guardian of Eden (also known as The Good Wifey), a romantic thriller that was well received by Amazon, Red Box, Netflix, and Wal-Mart. Most recently Michelle associate produced 2 Bedrooms 1 Bath, which she and producer Al Bravo are anticipating to release toward the end of this year or early 2014.

Janlia has a professional background in marketing and design with over 12 years of experience, and has worked with many international private and public companies from Australia, South Pacific, France, and the United States.
Started in the film industry as photography assistant on one of Brett Ratner’s feature films, “Rush Hour 3″, starring Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker, she enjoys the magic of production on both sides of the camera.
With a passion for art, design, and functionality, Janlia is also a believer in systems, organization, as well as spontaneity in adapting to today’s fast-changing marketplace. Janlia’s management, production and vast software skills, along with her friendliness has always been major assets to her clients and companies she worked with.

Creative and Marketing Director
German brings more than 10 years of design and advertising experience to Al Bravo Studios. While working for several ad agencies such as Media Revolution and Ignited, German has lent his vision to projects for many top A-list clients including Sony, Mattel, Activision, Agility, NBC, Universal, and the US Army. He also worked on the award-winning Army experience Center and the Spider-Man movie sites that helped launch the popular franchise. Over the span of his career, German has received several honors and awards for his work, including the prestigious One Show Merit Award.
